Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Install, convert, troubleshoot, repair, and remove Aristocrat gaming machines, signage, and gaming controllers.

• Conduct routine maintenance on gaming machines.

• Respond swiftly to customer calls and emergency requests, prioritizing urgent issues.

• Complete Pre-Site Surveys, adhere to the schedule, and execute assigned service tasks.

• Ensure inventory accuracy and follow the parts inventory protocol.

• Assist customers with technical inquiries and provide necessary documentation.

• Report on trends, requirements, and service challenges.

• Review pre-installation documents to assess the need for parts for installations.

• Gather and accurately document service activities using field service management reporting tools.

• Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service.

• Self-manage and perform daily tasks with minimal supervision.

• Adhere to Aristocrat’s Safety Guidelines.

• Operate designated service vehicles equipped with GPS and real-time camera monitoring systems.

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck.

• Work in crowded, noisy, and smoky casino environments.

• Travel with little or no notice, potentially for extended periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum age of 21 years.

• Clean and valid driver’s license with a maintainable insurable driving record.

• Ability to obtain a gaming license as required; Aristocrat will assist with the application, payment, and renewal post-hire.

• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory; regional and national travel may reach up to 30%.

• Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, highly organized, and proactive.

• Passionate about technology and problem-solving.

• Capable of staying calm in a fast-paced work environment, prioritizing multiple tasks, and achieving goals.

• Effective and constructive communication skills with customers and colleagues.

• Preferred: experience as a slot technician, in field service of technical products, or other diagnostic roles.

• Preferred: experience in fieldwork, on-call duties, and travel for work.

• Preferred: background in electronics, mechanics, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Capable of pushing up to 250 pounds with assistance from moving equipment.

• Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders.

• Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and vision.

• Competent in driving and operating a vehicle for extended durations.
