Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Install, convert, troubleshoot, repair, and remove Aristocrat gaming machines, signage, and gaming controllers.

• Conduct routine maintenance on gaming machines.

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and emergency requests, prioritizing urgent issues.

• Execute Pre-Site Surveys, adhere to the schedule, and carry out designated service tasks.

• Ensure inventory accuracy and comply with the parts inventory process.

• Assist customers with technical inquiries and provide necessary documentation.

• Report on trends, requirements, and service-related challenges.

• Review pre-installation documents to assess parts requirements.

• Collect and accurately report service activities utilizing field service management tools.

• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and high standards of customer service.

• Self-manage and perform daily tasks with minimal supervision.

• Adhere to Aristocrat’s Safety Guidelines.

• Operate designated service vehicles equipped with GPS and real-time camera monitoring systems.

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck.

• Work in crowded, noisy, and smoky casino settings.

• Travel with little or no notice, potentially for extended durations.

• Complete comprehensive hands-on and virtual training within the first six months.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum age of 21 years.

• Clean and valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

• Capability to obtain a gaming license as required.

• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.

• Regional and national travel may reach up to 30%.

• Self-motivated, flexible, adaptable, organized, and proactive.

• Passionate about technology and problem-solving.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective and constructive communication skills with customers and colleagues.

• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds.

• Ability to push up to 250 pounds with the aid of moving equipment.

• Capability to climb and maintain balance on ladders.

• Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual acuity.

• Ability to drive and operate a vehicle for extended periods.

• Preferred: experience as a slot technician, field service for technical products, or related diagnostic work.

• Preferred: experience in fieldwork, being on call, and traveling for work.

• Preferred: familiarity with electronics, mechanics, and troubleshooting.

• Subject to mandatory background screening and regulatory approvals.

• May be required to undergo a criminal background check, submit fingerprints, and secure licenses or registrations with applicable gaming regulatory bodies.

• Must be authorized to work full-time in the job posting location without current or future visa sponsorship.
