Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to carry out maintenance and repair tasks on LG's equipment.

• Utilize provided safety equipment, vehicle, and diagnostic tools effectively.

• Perform technical diagnostics and execute specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and determine whether to repair products or replace components.

• Complete paperwork and conduct data entry promptly and accurately after each service call.

• Pre-screen next-day service requests by gathering information to assist in diagnosing issues prior to arriving at customer residences.

• Achieve or surpass company performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisits, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Provide an outstanding customer experience and represent LG in a professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (Field Service preferred).

• Experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficient in using tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• Valid Driver’s license in good standing.

• Ability to acquire necessary EPA Certification.

• Must be able to continuously bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must be available to work in the St. Augustine, Fleming Island, Green Cove Springs, Orange Park, East Jacksonville, Sandalwood, and surrounding metropolitan areas.
