Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis through the implementation of customer service initiatives.

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on designated Biodevices.

• Provide electrical and mechanical assistance and perform urgent repairs at client sites.

• Comprehend and adhere to electrical schematics.

• Participate in after-hours support and repairs for the territory.

• Maintain communication with designated hatcheries.

• Complete necessary reporting forms and procedures, including visit scheduling, customer site contacts, parts usage priorities, site cart management, certification program, as well as vehicle and equipment upkeep.

• Administer the Hatchery Inovo Process across a designated area consisting of 3–5 hatcheries.

• Oversee the Zoetis Operator Training Program for over 25 customer employees.

• Facilitate the preparation of vaccines and sanitation for Zoetis devices.

• Support and execute the Zoetis Process Evaluation Program.

• Gather and report vital information within the Zoetis FieldAware System.

• Adhere to all safety and precautionary protocols.

• Maintain regular communication with the supervisor.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in poultry science or a similar discipline from an accredited institution.

• Relevant experience may be considered in place of the educational requirement.

• Typically requires 1–5 years of related experience.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving skills, judgment, and initiative.

• Effective communication skills to interact directly with various levels of customer management.

• Basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Proven ability to interpret and communicate results from the Hatchery Air Plating Program.

• Capability to work in potentially hazardous hatchery environments.

• Availability for irregular working hours due to on-call duties exceeding a 40-hour work week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical ability to lift over 25 pounds.

• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time, including potentially 30% overnight.

• Must have or obtain authorization to work in the US; sponsorship is discretionary.
