Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis by executing customer service initiatives.

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned Biodevices.

• Provide electrical and mechanical support, including emergency repairs at customer sites.

• Comprehend and adhere to electrical schematics.

• Participate in territory after-hours support and repairs as needed.

• Manage communication with designated hatcheries.

• Complete reporting forms and procedures, which include scheduling visits, identifying customer site contacts, prioritizing parts usage, managing site carts, maintaining certification programs, and overseeing vehicle and equipment upkeep.

• Oversee the Hatchery Inovo Process for a specific territory comprising 3–5 hatcheries.

• Administer the Zoetis Operator Training Program for over 25 customer employees.

• Facilitate the preparation of vaccines and sanitation for Zoetis devices.

• Support and execute the Zoetis Process Evaluation Program.

• Collect and report vital information within the Zoetis FieldAware system.

• Adhere to safety and precautionary protocols.

• Maintain regular communication with the supervisor.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in poultry science or a similar discipline from an accredited institution.

• Experience may be considered as a substitute for educational qualifications.

• Typically requires 1–5 years of relevant experience.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

• Basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Established skills in interpreting and communicating results of the Hatchery Air Plating Program.

• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with various levels of customer management.

• Availability for unsocial work hours due to on-call responsibilities beyond a standard 40-hour work week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Capability to lift more than 25 pounds.

• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time, with up to 30% requiring overnight stays.

• Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
