Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Promote the Altra brand throughout the Virginia territory by fostering authentic connections, executing thoughtful activations, and providing hands-on support.

• Establish relationships with retailers through personal visits, product demonstrations, and support on the sales floor.

• Provide product knowledge to retail staff and consumers.

• Generate enthusiasm for Altra by engaging with local partnerships, running clubs, events, and community initiatives.

• Implement merchandising and promotional activities.

• Represent Altra at local and selected national races, events, and expos.

• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams on go-to-market strategies.

• Convey product insights, consumer behavior, and market trend observations.

• Ensure accurate reporting from the field and manage field assets, travel, and expenses.

• Enhance relationships, brand visibility, territory performance, and community involvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in specialty retail (preferably in running or outdoor sectors).

• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing role.

• Proficient in fitting and selling technical footwear.

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.

• Capable of working independently while remaining connected to a larger team.

• A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for the running and outdoor community.

• Familiarity with Altra products is advantageous.

• Residing in the Washington, D.C. area.

• Willingness to travel and manage field assets, travel, and expenses.
