Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Activate the Altra brand within the Virginia region by fostering authentic connections, executing thoughtful activations, and providing hands-on support.

• Establish relationships with retailers through face-to-face visits, demonstrations, and support on the sales floor.

• Provide product education to both retail staff and consumers.

• Generate excitement through local partnerships, running clubs, events, and community involvement.

• Implement merchandising and promotional activations.

• Represent Altra at local and select national races, events, and expos.

• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies.

• Convey insights on product feedback, consumer behaviors, and market trends.

• Maintain field reporting and oversee field assets, travel, and expenses.

• Enhance relationships, brand visibility, territory performance, and community engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty retail (preferably in running or outdoor sectors).

• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing role.

• Proficiency in fitting and selling technical footwear.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to a larger team.

• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a passion for the running and outdoor community.

• Familiarity with Altra products is advantageous.

• Residing in the Washington, D.C. area.

• Willingness to travel and work in the field throughout the territory.
