Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at customer locations utilizing tools, components, and technical diagrams.

• Conduct on-site preventive maintenance, inspection services, callout services, and commissioning activities on turbomachinery and package systems.

• Travel to customer sites in Ontario to provide service for gas turbine packages.

• Employ test equipment to diagnose and identify malfunctions, referring to schematics and manufacturers' specifications.

• Utilize hand tools, gauges, instruments, and digital tools to analyze, repair, or replace defective parts.

• Check for common issues; clean and lubricate equipment as necessary.

• Execute routine installations and adjust equipment following standard procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Understanding of customer service concepts and techniques.

• Capability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.

• Ability to proactively seek work and achieve goals.

• Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies, tools, and techniques.

• Knowledge of machinery utilized in power plants.

• Competence in conducting preventive maintenance and repairs or replacements on faulty mechanical components used in power plants.

• Awareness of mechanical equipment and preventive maintenance in the oil and gas sector.

• Skill in repairing or replacing defective mechanical parts used in the exploration, production, or refining of hydrocarbons.

• Understanding of oil and gas safety protocols, practices, considerations, and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to identify and address work-related hazards.

• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

• Capability to design, implement, and operate automated process controls.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
