This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of both company and multi-vendor system solutions.
• Install and enhance hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer locations.
• Identify and resolve product performance issues.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs as required.
• Provide guidance to customers on preventive maintenance and settings that may affect product performance.
• Take proactive measures to address potential equipment issues to avert unexpected disruptions in customers' operations.
• Deliver comprehensive solutions, encompassing peripherals, communication systems, operating systems, and application software.
• Educate other field engineers and clients on the solutions provided.
• Engage with customers and operate in various laboratory settings.
• A post-secondary degree in a scientific discipline – such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related college degree accompanied by relevant work experience.
• Over 4 years of experience in a laboratory environment, specifically with spectroscopy, GC, LC, and GCP.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving is essential.
• Familiarity with Agilent Instruments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are clear, respectful, and timely.
• A passion for traveling and visiting customers.
• Anticipated travel requirement is 25%.
• The ideal candidate MUST reside in the Calgary, Alberta area.
