Field Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of field service technicians.

• Enhance technician productivity, response times, first-time fix rates, and overall customer satisfaction.

• Drive growth in service revenue and printer placements by providing exceptional customer support and service excellence.

• Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture, while boosting engagement and morale in the field.

• Eliminate operational obstacles and assist technicians in achieving their performance goals.

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

• Manage customer escalations and ensure that outstanding issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

• Promote continuous improvement across service operations, inventory management, and field processes.

• Oversee key business metrics, including revenue growth, expense management, inventory turnover, and service productivity.

• Gain insights into financial performance and participate in decisions that positively impact Field Service and OpCo results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, electronics, or a related discipline.

• 5-10 years of experience in field service or technical support roles.

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate remote field-based employees.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Experience with service CRM/ERP tools, such as Salesforce.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
