Field Service Engineer – Southern DACH Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Commission, maintain, repair, and enhance TOMRA sorting systems.

• Execute service tasks at client locations within Germany and throughout Europe.

• Diagnose and rectify technical issues in electrical and electromechanical systems.

• Assist in the integration and testing of new systems.

• Educate customers, service technicians, and maintenance personnel on-site.

• Offer technical assistance via phone and during on-site visits.

• Collaborate closely with the Sales, Project Management, and Technical Support teams.

• Document service tasks and generate service reports.

• Ensure high system uptime and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field.

• Alternatively, completed technician training paired with relevant work experience.

• Strong understanding of fault analysis and troubleshooting in technical systems.

• Passion for tackling technical challenges and practical problem-solving.

• An independent and structured work approach.

• Readiness to travel extensively (approximately 80%) within Germany.

• Enjoyment in working with clients and international teams.

• Proficient in German and possess good written and spoken English skills.

• Valid Category B driving license.

• Residing in Southern Germany or Austria.
