Customer Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and cultivate existing client relationships while also pursuing new clientele.

• Proactively seek out new customers.

• Prepare quotes and diligently follow up on them.

• Process customer orders, including confirmations and related documentation.

• Organize, coordinate, and monitor outstanding customer orders.

• Manage customer communications via phone and written correspondence, both domestically and internationally.

• Offer technical and commercial guidance to customers.

• Maintain and utilize the ERP system, including the creation and updating of master data and order processing.

• Compile and refresh statistical analyses.

• Conduct occasional on-site visits to customers.

• Collaborate with various internal departments.

• Assist with purchasing tasks and engage with both local and international suppliers.

• Prepare and manage inquiries and purchase orders, including import procedures.

• Create and manage items in the ERP system.

• Aid in shipping and invoicing processes.

• Communicate with domestic and international transportation service providers.

• Prepare delivery notes and invoices, including export procedures.

• Initiate and track freight forwarding and parcel shipment orders.

• Contribute to internal projects and undertake additional responsibilities as needed by the organization.

• Completed vocational training in a technical or commercial field.

• A sales-driven, independent, and self-sufficient work ethic.

• Excellent communication skills paired with strong organizational capabilities.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Highly proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
