Field Service Engineer – Recycling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, test, maintain, and optimize TOMRA sorting systems.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, and network systems.

• Provide technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct operator and maintenance training sessions for customer teams.

• Coordinate service activities, upgrades, and project-related tasks.

• Prepare precise service reports and documentation.

• Identify opportunities for upgrades, enhancements, and spare parts sales.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Sales, and Technical Support teams.

• Ensure that all work is performed safely and complies with company and regulatory standards.

• Travel frequently throughout Australia and occasionally internationally.

⛳️ Requirements

• A qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.

• At least 3 years of experience in supporting industrial equipment within a Field Service, Maintenance, or Technical Support setting.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities in electrical and electronic systems.

• Solid mechanical skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.

• Capability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• A valid Driver's License.

• Valid authorization to work in Australia.

• Experience with optical sorting technology is preferred.

• Prior experience in the recycling industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with industrial networking, IT systems, and cybersecurity concepts is preferred.

• Additional language skills are preferred.
