Field Service Engineer – Level 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Install, repair, and maintain products from Onto Innovation, including metrology and inspection instruments.

• Execute the installation of new tools across the European region, engaging in both engineering and applications responsibilities.

• Address down-tool incidents within Europe.

• Attend to maintenance requests as necessary.

• Supply requested documentation and feedback to the US manufacturing facility.

• Offer insights to the sales team and assist in identifying potential leads for future sales opportunities.

• Provide applications feedback to facilitate ongoing product enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred prior Field Service experience within the Semiconductor sector.

• Familiarity with equipment fault detection, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and software domains.

• Preferred background in Semiconductor applications.

• College/University degree or several years of relevant professional experience in engineering or E&I.

• Capability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer communication abilities.

• Proficient in the effective use of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Europe, approximately 40% of the time.
