This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Execute installations, inspections, verifications, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance for EP Technologies Affera systems.
• Ensure the maintenance and submission of technical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Share field experience insights with office colleagues and update the database accordingly.
• Contribute to service processes, documentation, procedures, and ongoing improvements.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing for enhancements to Affera products.
• Engage in developing and delivering technical training for distributors, partners, agents, and qualified customer representatives.
• Take part in design improvement discussions to support new product launches.
• Examine, analyze, and identify trends in technical data concerning Affera products.
• Participate in special projects as requested by the U.S. Field Service Manager or their designee.
• Deliver technical training to physicians, EP technicians, and department managers at customer locations.
• Act as the primary technical representative for EP Technologies Affera’s customers, as well as sales and clinical teams.
• Conduct technical assessments, installations, support, servicing, maintenance, and de-installations at customer sites.
• Offer technical assistance to physicians or technologists during clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with Field Service, Technical Service, Marketing, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.
• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical, clinical field service, technical internships, or clinical customer support.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Capability to apply principles of electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical engineering for troubleshooting.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing medical equipment technically.
• Exceptional English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including potential international trips.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and function without direct supervision.
• Experience with extensive direct, face-to-face customer interaction.
• Ability to closely collaborate with customers, address their concerns, and devise plans to enhance confidence and satisfaction with Affera products and services.
• For degrees obtained outside the U.S., a qualification that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is needed.
• Must reside within New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, or other designated territories; ideally within a 60-minute drive of Trenton, NJ.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is mandatory at the time of hire and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level.
