Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair diagnostic equipment.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.

• Identify technical issues in complex instruments and document solutions.

• Handle customer concerns from resolution to escalation.

• Organize and prioritize service appointments.

• Keep an accurate inventory record.

• Participate in on-call rotations, after-hours support, training travel, and critical account assistance.

• Adhere to regulatory, quality-system, and laboratory-safety standards.

• Maintain documentation for compliance audits.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Provide mentorship to other Field Service Representatives.

• Achieve service sales, cost-of-service, and KPI objectives.

• Utilize remote support tools to enhance instrument availability.

• Keep certifications current through continuous training and development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 25% within the designated territory.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with laboratory instrumentation.

• Ability to work independently and excel in team settings.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet applications, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valid Driver’s License.
