This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Install autonomous vehicles and associated equipment, such as chargers, I/O panels, and operator interfaces

• Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation procedures

• Travel to customer locations both domestically and internationally 60–75% of the time

• Modify both equipment and software as needed

• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software improvement opportunities

• Make necessary adjustments to software and hardware

• Monitor performance metrics of the system

• Provide training to customers

• Engage with customers directly

• Collaborate with fellow engineers on various projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.)

• At least 2 years of full-time engineering experience

• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Previous software experience is essential; familiarity with C, C++, MATLAB, Python, and Visual Basic is preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications

• Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals

• Competence in presenting information and addressing inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

• Proficiency in CAD is required; experience with AutoCAD is preferred

• A valid driver's license is necessary

• Candidates should preferably reside in the Dayton, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania areas; other locations may be considered based on experience
