Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites, such as CNG compressors, valve panels, dispensers, and communication panels.

• Execute warranty repairs and provide service as needed.

• Offer phone support and respond to inquiries via service-related emails.

• Oversee electrical and mechanical testing, field services, repairs, retrofits, and troubleshooting using root cause analysis techniques.

• Work both on-site and in an on-call capacity.

• Educate customers on maintenance and troubleshooting, acting as the subject matter expert.

• Conduct trial runs of the equipment.

• Encourage and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Accurately prepare and submit detailed paperwork in a timely manner.

• Analyze test results and communicate findings effectively.

• Conduct weights and measures testing.

• Operate ANGI proprietary Series II and C-Scape software.

• Interpret and analyze prints/drawings according to specifications.

• Utilize AX Dynamics to retrieve parts and manage inventory logs.

• Travel across North America as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree from a college or technical school; or a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and PLC skills.

• Completion of Ariel training.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Capability to commission, test, and operate CNG compressors, dispensers, dryers, MSPs, and various panel types.

• Proficient in the use of technical gauges, including digital thermometers, vibration analyzers, and Fluke meters.

• Ability to manage safe and timely testing and startup of equipment.

• Skilled in performing weights and measures testing.

• Competent in operating ANGI proprietary Series II and C-Scape software.

• Ability to read and analyze prints/drawings according to specifications.

• Experience with AX Dynamics for parts lookup and inventory management.

• Willingness and ability to travel across North America.
