Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional service and support through customer interactions, acting as the representative of Videojet.

• Operate from a home office daily and travel across the region using a company-provided vehicle.

• Engage in 100% travel within a 2-hour radius of Chicago, with minimal overnight travel required.

• Offer continuous care and support for customer equipment.

• Install products and solutions at customer sites.

• Identify and resolve challenges and technical issues.

• Cultivate strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor and partner.

• Advocate for service agreements and cutting-edge technology to broaden Videojet's market presence.

• Report directly to the Field Service Manager.

• Work in conjunction with an office-based technical support team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight trips.

• A minimum of 2 years of technical experience in repairing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing various types of equipment.

• Proficient in basic computer and technical skills, including email, software applications, phone apps, and Microsoft Word.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.

• Capability to lift 50 lbs or more.

• Initial training will require consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends.
