Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer locations.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines across the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and address reactive repairs.

• Foster strong relationships with clients and site representatives.

• Travel throughout the South region, including occasional overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine conditions, and updates using digital tools and systems.

• Provide feedback and contribute to ongoing improvements.

• Uphold high safety standards while adhering to TOMRA Safe and LOTO procedures.

• Support TOMRA’s mission to enhance recycling infrastructure for the UK Deposit Return Scheme.

• Strong background in electro-mechanical systems.

• Eagerness to learn how to analyze, test, and repair sophisticated equipment.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Clear and confident communication skills.

• Comfortable using power and hand tools both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based position.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Availability for approved overtime and weekend work.

• Ability to adapt to a rota-based shift pattern, including weekend coverage from October 2027.
