Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at customer locations.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and rollout of new machines across the UK.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

• Foster relationships with customers and site contacts.

• Travel throughout Scotland, with occasional overnight stays as necessary.

• Document service activities, machine status, and updates using digital systems and tools.

• Provide feedback and contribute to ongoing improvements.

• Uphold high safety standards and adhere to TOMRA's Safe and LOTO procedures.

• From October 2027, participate in a rota-based shift pattern that includes weekend coverage.

• Strong foundation in electro-mechanical systems.

• Eagerness to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex equipment.

• Curious and solution-focused mindset.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Customer-centric approach.

• Clear and confident communication abilities.

• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools, both independently and within a team.

• Flexibility to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based role.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Willingness to work occasional approved overtime and weekends.

• From October 2027, readiness to work a rota-based shift pattern that includes weekend coverage.
