This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Install, commission, test, integrate, optimize, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair TOMRA Recycling sensor-based sorting systems.
• Execute field service operations primarily in Poland, with additional support required in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
• Prepare detailed service reports following installations, maintenance tasks, and technical interventions.
• Accurately report service activities, expenses, spare parts utilization, and other operational data in a timely manner.
• Provide on-site training to customer maintenance and service teams.
• Assist in the development of fellow TOMRA Service Engineers.
• Offer technical support via phone and respond swiftly to customer and equipment-related field concerns.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams, leveraging technical expertise and insights from the field.
• Enhance the performance, reliability, availability, and customer satisfaction of sorting systems.
• Complete field service projects punctually, within budget, and adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Foster and sustain customer relationships as a trusted technical advisor and representative of TOMRA.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field; alternatively, a technical qualification combined with relevant field service experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar field service, maintenance, technical support, or industrial service position.
• High willingness to travel, with approximately 80-90% of working hours spent on customer sites throughout Poland and the broader Central & Eastern European region.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical subjects clearly.
• Customer-focused mindset and proficiency in working effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Hands-on approach, eagerness to travel, and enthusiasm for technology and engineering.
• Proficient in Polish and competent in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
