Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, operate, test, integrate, optimize, maintain, and repair TOMRA sensor-based sorting systems.

• Primarily conduct field service work for recycling clients across Germany and Europe.

• Deliver comprehensive field reports following each installation or technical intervention.

• Timely report on activities, costs, and other relevant information.

• Train customer maintenance and service personnel, as well as TSS Service Engineers, on-site.

• Offer on-call technical telephone support and field responses to equipment and customer issues.

• Assist Sales and Project Management teams.

• Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Sorting systems and uphold customer satisfaction.

• Effectively manage field service operations in terms of costs and timelines.

• Travel to customer locations and other regions as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field; alternatively, a technical qualification with relevant field service experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in a comparable field service, maintenance, technical support, or industrial service position.

• Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Capable of diagnosing and resolving technical issues independently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to clearly explain technical subjects to customers and colleagues.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• Competent in working effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

• Practical, hands-on approach.

• Willingness to travel.

• Enthusiasm for technology and engineering.

• Fluent in Polish and proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Valid driver's license (Category B).
