Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Execute field service tasks effectively to achieve budget and timeline goals

• Ensure the efficient operation of TOMRA Food sorting machines

• Identify and resolve equipment problems and perform necessary repairs

• Work in collaboration with internal teams to improve customer support processes

• Install and calibrate TOMRA Food equipment

• Educate customers on the operation and upkeep of systems

• Maintain precise, comprehensive field reports for administrative tracking

• Provide support to customers mainly within the designated region and occasionally in other areas of France

• Operate at customer locations and from home when site visits are not scheduled

• Travel domestically up to 80% of the time

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education at the BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline

• Proficient in French

• Capable of understanding spoken and written English (minimum B2), essential

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial clients

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours

• Strong understanding of IT, networking, and computer configuration

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management
