Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Install and set up sorting equipment at client locations

• Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks

• Educate operators and maintenance staff

• Provide technical support to customers

• Act as a reliable partner for TOMRA in the field

• Prepare for customer engagements from a home office

• Complete service reports and update technical documentation

• Offer remote assistance when necessary

• Assist customers across Brittany and neighboring areas

• Occasionally provide support to colleagues and clients in other regions of France

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification (BAC+2 or equivalent) in Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics, or a related field

• Practical experience in electrical fault diagnosis and electromechanical troubleshooting

• Proficiency in French

• Capability to communicate effectively in English in a technical and professional context

• Prior experience in Field Service, customer-site maintenance, commissioning, installation, or mobile technical support roles is highly desirable

• Demonstrated experience in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on industrial equipment in customer-facing settings

• Solid understanding of IT systems, networking basics, and PC configurations

• Strong customer service orientation and skill in building trusted relationships

• Valid driving license required
