Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Install, service, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines at client locations.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines throughout the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs as needed.

• Cultivate strong relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel within the North East region, occasionally requiring overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine conditions, and updates using digital tools and systems.

• Enhance continuous improvement by providing feedback and expanding technical expertise.

• Uphold high safety standards at all times.

• Assist customers to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong background in electro-mechanical systems, with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair intricate equipment.

• A curious and solution-focused mindset, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

• A customer-centric approach, exhibiting clear and confident communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently with power tools/hand tools, as well as collaboratively within a supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and effectively manage your schedule in a field-based position.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Commitment to adhering to TOMRA Safe and LOTO standards.

• Flexibility for occasional approved overtime and weekend work.

• From October 2027, availability for a rota-based shift pattern that includes weekend coverage.
