Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at customer locations.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and rollout of new machines as TOMRA expands its presence across the UK.

• Diagnose and resolve both mechanical and electrical issues.

• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

• Cultivate strong relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Deliver professional and friendly customer service.

• Travel throughout the region to support customers, including occasional overnight stays as necessary.

• Document service activities, machine status, and updates utilizing digital systems and tools.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement by providing feedback and enhancing technical knowledge.

• Uphold high safety standards.

• Collaborate with experienced colleagues to develop technical expertise.

• Support TOMRA’s mission to revolutionize recycling and implement the Deposit Return Scheme infrastructure.

• A customer-centric approach, with effective and confident communication skills.

• A foundational knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, coupled with a desire to learn how to analyze, test, and repair complex equipment.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a broader, supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based position.

• A valid UK driving license.

• Flexibility for occasional approved overtime and weekend work.

• Capability to adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety standards.

• Availability to work a rota-based shift pattern, including weekend coverage starting October 2027.
