Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at client locations.

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and deployment of new machines across the UK.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance and address reactive repairs.

• Foster strong relationships with customers and site representatives.

• Travel throughout the region to support clients, including occasional overnight stays.

• Document service activities, machine conditions, and updates using digital systems and tools.

• Provide feedback and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Enhance technical expertise and uphold high safety standards.

• Adhere to TOMRA Safe and LOTO safety protocols.

• A strong background in electro-mechanical systems, coupled with an eagerness to learn how to analyze, test, and repair sophisticated equipment.

• A curious, solution-driven mindset, with a keen attention to detail.

• A customer-centric approach, showcasing clear and confident communication skills.

• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools, both independently and as part of a larger, supportive team.

• Willingness to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based role.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Flexibility for occasional overnight stays.

• Openness to work approved overtime and weekends as needed.

• Availability for a rota-based shift pattern, including weekend coverage starting October 2027.
