Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair Volvo construction equipment and related machinery within the specified region.

• Utilize technical expertise and diagnostic tools to identify and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on machine conditions, repair status, and recommended next steps.

• Accurately complete job documentation, inspection reports, timesheets, and electronic records in real time.

• Uphold high standards of safety, professionalism, cleanliness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Foster strong customer relationships and position yourself as a reliable technical expert.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance machine performance and optimize uptime.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering, HGV Maintenance, or a relevant engineering field.

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and repairing heavy construction machinery.

• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, drivetrains, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures.

• Exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in a field-based setting.

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Willingness to travel, work overtime, and accommodate customer needs as required.
