Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Carry out installations, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on Sartorius equipment.

• Deliver both on-site and remote technical assistance to customers.

• Identify technical issues through standard diagnostic tools and implement predefined corrective measures.

• Address technical problems within established guidelines and escalation protocols.

• Forward complex or unresolved technical matters to higher support levels.

• Record symptoms, findings, actions taken, service activities, and corrective measures in service systems.

• Comply with service processes, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.

• Over 3 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support roles involving technical equipment or systems.

• Strong capability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues using established procedures.

• Good grasp of equipment functionality and service processes.

• Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach to explain technical topics clearly.

• Ability to adhere to structured service processes and documentation standards.

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel.

• Capacity to occasionally lift up to 22 kilograms and frequently lift up to 9 kilograms.
