Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Install, repair, and maintain metrology and inspection products from Onto Innovation.

• Execute the installation of new tools across the European region, fulfilling Engineering and Applications responsibilities.

• Address down-tool incidents within Europe promptly.

• Conduct maintenance as necessary.

• Supply requested documentation and feedback to the US factory.

• Offer insights to the sales team and assist in identifying potential future sales opportunities.

• Provide Applications feedback to facilitate ongoing product enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in Field Service within the Semiconductor industry.

• Background in equipment fault detection is advantageous.

• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and software aspects.

• Preferably experienced in Semiconductor applications.

• Possess a college/university degree or several years of relevant professional experience in engineering or E&I.

• Capable of working independently while still being part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills are essential.

• Proficient in efficiently using Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Europe, approximately 40% of the time.
