Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve intricate issues escalated by Product Support Specialists.

• Adhere to the escalation matrix for unresolved matters, involving hardware and software teams as required.

• Employ electrical wiring diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

• Diagnose technical challenges associated with robotic machines, including Fanuc Arms, network connections, hard drives, and electrical box failures.

• Analyze and interpret device logs to identify and resolve issues.

• Review and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and modifications related to the remote monitoring system.

• Oversee onsite inventory and perform physical audits to ensure adequate spare parts availability.

• Maintain a safe and organized working environment around all equipment.

• Create and update the ticketing tool on a daily basis.

• Carry out preventative maintenance on robotic systems.

• Travel to various sites as required to provide on-site customer support.

• Act as the primary on-site customer liaison, delivering exceptional customer service and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Up to 1 year of experience in a similar technical role.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Hardware, or Software is a plus.

• Solid understanding of electrical systems, network connections, and robotic technologies.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills with the capability to convey technical issues to non-technical users.

• Proficient in using ticketing systems such as Freshdesk and Jira.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
