Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and address technical problems to ensure that equipment functions at optimal efficiency.

• Perform preventative maintenance and essential inspections on equipment.

• Travel to customer sites to service Linde forklifts and various material handling equipment.

• Establish strong customer relationships and provide outstanding support.

• Deliver hands-on, solution-oriented field service.

• Assist customer operations in the Stoke-on-Trent and Telford regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer.

• Experience in roles such as forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or vehicle technician.

• Familiarity with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly advantageous.

• NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficient in using IT equipment for accurate record-keeping and order placements.

• A valid full UK driving licence is required.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
