This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on designated equipment.
• Carry out installation, validation, and maintenance tasks on assigned equipment.
• Guide, teach, and support junior Field Engineers; offer coaching and constructive feedback.
• Take the lead in customer communications and act as the escalation point for any customer-related issues, including installations.
• Manage customer concerns from the point of dispatch or identification through to resolution.
• Relay HQ and Zone or Area-level initiatives effectively.
• Co-facilitate regular team or modality meetings as necessary.
• Collaborate with customers and suggest value-added services.
• Keep customer service logs and internal service records up to date; order repair parts and oversee cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process and work together with regional and national support to execute corrective action plans.
• Work in partnership with colleagues and teammates.
• Engage in account communities for key accounts, identify sales leads, support sales opportunities, and promote revenue initiatives.
• Foster customer relationships with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Track competitor information and market trends.
• Exhibit commercial awareness and support assigned account communities.
• Collaborate with Commercial Sales teams and regional/zone leadership to drive business growth.
• Assist the Area Service Manager or Director of Service in implementing growth and deployment strategies.
• Provide application training to clinical or scientific staff on specific equipment as required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education with 4+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment.
• Experience in collaborating with internal team members and external customers within a solution-oriented service process.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Background in troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns.
• Familiarity with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Aptitude to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and demonstrate proficient hand and finger dexterity.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, as applicable.
