Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Offer technical guidance and support to clients regarding the operation and maintenance of company products.

• Act as the primary contact for customers facing technical and service-related issues.

• Showcase product applications and benefits effectively.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, QA/QC, and R&D teams to resolve customer issues, identify corrective measures, and follow up accordingly.

• Install, test, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within service-management timelines.

• Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with established procedures.

• Keep records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.

• Provide guidance and training to customer personnel on operational, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.

• Investigate equipment failures, identify causes, and suggest corrective actions.

• Provide advice and assistance regarding design modifications to enhance equipment efficiency or lower operating costs.

• Participate in planning for installations as required.

• Foster customer goodwill through prompt and effective service communication and professional representation.

• Oversee company assets, including vehicles, computers, trunk stock parts inventory, test equipment, and tools.

• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.

• May be tasked with responsibilities in a designated region.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar field-based repair role.

• Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

• Possess a valid driver’s license.

• Capable of obtaining credit approval for a Corporate Credit card.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Independent and critical thinker.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Proficient in problem-solving capabilities.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; must be capable of bending, pushing, etc.

• Manual dexterity is required.

• Willing to work extended hours, including over 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, as well as weekends, holidays, and after-hours.

• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

• Must fulfill all requirements for access to customer sites, including current compliance with credentialing requirements, which may involve COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations.

• Must effectively speak, read, write, and understand English.

• Applicants must have authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

• Must engage in reasonable work activities assigned by management.
