Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Arrange and deliver technical training for distributor staff, contractors, dealers, and installers.

• Evaluate and troubleshoot Franklin Electric products.

• Oversee and assist with product installations.

• Advocate for and showcase Franklin Electric products and initiatives at trade shows and special events.

• Perform product demonstrations as required.

• Gather and report marketing insights regarding competitive products, industry distribution or personnel changes, and customer requirements.

• Prepare and submit weekly reports and special reports that highlight issues at sites or with customers or products.

• Interpret technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic formats and manage both abstract and concrete variables.

• Convey information and address inquiries from customers, clients, the public, and team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred three to five years of relevant experience in water systems or the industry.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience is mandatory.

• Candidate must reside in the Northeast region of the United States.

• Willingness to travel 70% of the time, including up to 50% overnight travel.

• Capability to test and troubleshoot Franklin Electric products.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, the public, and employees.
