Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Schedule and deliver technical training to distributor staff, contractors, dealers, and installers.

• Test and diagnose issues with Franklin Electric products.

• Supervise and aid in product installations.

• Promote and represent Franklin Electric products and initiatives at trade shows and special events.

• Conduct product demonstrations as required.

• Gather and report marketing insights on competitive products, industry distribution trends or personnel changes, and customer requirements.

• Prepare and submit weekly and special reports that highlight issues at sites or with customers or products.

• Interpret technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic formats.

• Relay information and respond to inquiries from customers, clients, the public, and employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the Northeast region of the US.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience (required).

• Three to five years of relevant experience in water systems or related industries (preferred).

• Willingness to travel 70% of the time, including up to 50% overnight travel.

• Capability to test and troubleshoot Franklin Electric products.

• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic formats.

• Proficiency in effectively communicating with customers, clients, the public, and employees.
