Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Organize and deliver technical training sessions for distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and installers.

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting for Franklin Electric products.

• Oversee and provide support during product installations.

• Advocate for and showcase Franklin Electric products and initiatives at trade shows and special events.

• Perform product demonstrations.

• Gather and report marketing intelligence regarding competitive products, industry distribution or personnel changes, and customer requirements.

• Prepare and submit weekly and ad-hoc reports highlighting issues encountered at sites or with clients or products.

• Understand and interpret technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic formats.

• Convey information and address inquiries from customers, clients, the public, and colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferably three to five years of relevant experience in water systems or the industry.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience is mandatory.

• Must be located within the Northeast region of the United States.

• Willingness to travel 70% of the time, which may include up to 50% overnight travel.

• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic forms.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers, clients, the general public, and employees.

• Capability to work with both abstract and concrete variables.
