Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer comprehensive technical and customer support for BD Parata's pharmacy automation products.

• Travel within the region to assist and service pharmacies in various settings.

• Provide exceptional customer service and troubleshoot technical issues at client locations.

• Maintain equipment and proactively address potential problems to ensure maximum uptime.

• Train clients on the operation and maintenance of pharmacy automation systems.

• Address service requests in accordance with SLA requirements.

• Work collaboratively with service teams to resolve intricate technical challenges.

• Aid in the installation of new automation systems as required.

• Log issues and solutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.

• Share product feedback to promote continuous enhancement.

• Operate independently with minimal oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology is preferred, along with 3-5 years of field service experience (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).

• A strong orientation towards customer service.

• Proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with computer networking, router/switch setup, and file management.

• A solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to utilize hand tools for servicing complex equipment.

• Experience with digital multi-meters and electrical testing instruments.

• Daily driving, averaging 4 hours, with occasional air travel.

• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to stand for extended durations, up to 10-12 hours when needed.
