This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Plan and execute preventative maintenance and calibration tasks according to Anton Paar Corporate Service Standards.

• Accurately complete all necessary documentation.

• Diagnose and perform instrument repairs at customer locations or in-house as needed.

• Provide comprehensive service reports.

• Offer remote technical assistance via phone and online platforms to both customers and colleagues.

• Work collaboratively with the broader service team on extensive multi-instrument contracts.

• Occasionally travel and stay overnight as required.

• Maintain vehicle inventory to meet KPI standards.

• Ensure timely replenishment and maximize first-time fix rates.

• Keep all tools and testing equipment fully operational and calibrated.

• Identify and create sales leads for instruments and service opportunities during service visits.

• Document service activities, communications, and parts usage in the CRM system.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC (or higher) in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Electronics.

• Demonstrated field service experience with complex analytical instrumentation at customer sites.

• Familiarity with systems that utilize compressed gases and potentially hazardous materials.

• Capability to interpret scientific/analytical data and address technical customer inquiries.

• Proficiency with standard electronic testing equipment.

• Strong organizational skills along with effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in IT, with experience in using CRM systems being advantageous.

• Skilled in MS Office applications.

• Self-driven and adaptable.

• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.

• Valid, clean UK driving license.
