This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Strategize and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration tasks according to Anton Paar Corporate Service Standards.

• Accurately complete all necessary documentation.

• Diagnose and implement repairs for instruments either at customer locations or in-house as needed.

• Provide comprehensive service reports.

• Offer remote technical assistance through phone and online platforms to customers and team members.

• Collaborate with the extended service team to support extensive, multi-instrument contracts.

• Travel and occasionally stay overnight as required.

• Maintain vehicle inventory to KPI standards, ensuring efficient replenishment and maximizing first-time fix rates.

• Ensure that tools and testing equipment are fully operational and calibrated.

• Identify and create sales opportunities for instruments and service during service visits.

• Record service actions, communications, and parts usage in the CRM system.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC (or higher) in an Engineering or science discipline, with a preference for Electronics.

• Demonstrated field service experience with complex analytical instrumentation at customer locations.

• Familiarity with systems that utilize compressed gases and potentially hazardous materials.

• Experience working with low voltage DC, 230v single phase, and 400v 3-phase systems.

• Ability to analyze scientific/analytical data and address technical customer inquiries.

• Proficient in using standard electronic testing equipment.

• Strong organizational aptitude with effective written and verbal communication skills.

• IT proficient, preferably with experience in CRM systems; skilled in MS Office applications.

• Self-driven, adaptable, and willing to travel with occasional overnight stays.

• Possess a full, clean UK driving license.
