Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of low voltage distribution equipment, transformers, and associated power distribution systems.

• Create technical documentation and test reports.

• Track and manage spare parts, tools, equipment, and consumables.

• Uphold and comply with company and site safety protocols.

• Participate in relevant site meetings.

• Collaborate with Project Management and site staff.

• Deliver excellent customer service, address client requirements, and escalate issues for resolution.

• Maintain regular communication with Project Managers, ensuring effective information exchange.

• Actively work to identify and eliminate waste, enhancing process value.

• Follow company policies, regulations, and health and safety standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's degree in electrical power distribution or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.

• Military experience is advantageous.

• Experience in Data Centers or similar mission-critical systems is preferred.

• Proven experience with electrical power distribution systems, power monitoring systems, AC/DC electrical power, and communication protocols.

• Preferred three to five years of experience in designing low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and/or power distribution equipment.

• Familiarity with UL Standards, including UL67, UL1008, UL10008S, UL60950, UL891, and UL1558, as applicable.

• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.

• Capability to be on-call, work weekends, and fulfill required overtime duties.

• Must be able to respond to emergency calls and arrive within 2 hours.
