Field Service Engineer 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Carry out the installation and configuration of intricate electro/mechanical equipment and software systems at customer locations.

• Assist in ramp activities by executing installations under both standard and escalated conditions.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during the installation and startup phases.

• Work in conjunction with the Ramp Manager and field teams to adhere to installation timelines and milestones.

• Ensure that installations comply with quality, safety, and performance standards.

• Conduct system validation, calibration, and testing to verify operational readiness.

• Record installation activities, challenges, and solutions in line with company procedures.

• Provide constructive feedback to engineering and product teams to enhance installation processes and product performance.

• Maintain the tools, equipment, and inventory necessary for installation tasks.

• Engage with customers during installations by delivering clear communication and presenting a professional image.

• Take part in training programs related to new products, upgrades, and installation methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.

• Must possess valid travel documentation.

• Up to 50% travel required, subject to business needs.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in field service, installation, or technical support.

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical, or a related technical field, or equivalent military/technical experience.

• Hands-on experience with electro/mechanical systems, software integration, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with optics, image processing, or motion control systems is preferred.

• Ability to work independently in dynamic field environments while maintaining a strong quality and customer focus.
