Field Service Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform and deliver physical audits and outcomes for NextGear Capital’s Risk division.

• Assist client-facing Operations team members in managing the dealer accounts portfolio.

• Execute physical and financial audits to evaluate client business health and risk factors.

• Review sales documentation, results of physical inventory audits, and behaviors of dealership staff.

• Present audit findings in written, visual, and verbal formats to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership.

• Engage with clients to address unresolved audit issues, which may include missing financial data and inventory.

• Build strong relationships with dealers and carry out thorough risk assessments at dealer sites, auctions, and repair facilities.

• Examine, observe, and document dealership processes and practices while identifying potential risks.

• Audit collateral through lot and title assessments, determining dealer equity and business health for underwriting purposes.

• Validate inventory in market share transactions exceeding $500,000 to minimize risk and expand the portfolio.

• Share findings with dealers, re-educating them on contract stipulations, reviewing inventory trends, collecting payments, and acquiring documentation.

• Assist Recovery with repossessions, including the collection of keys, securing collateral, arranging transport to auctions, and tracking daily funding receivables.

• Conduct repo and location audits.

• Travel approximately 100% of the work month, primarily in an external dealership-lot setting, with potential air travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with generally less than 2 years of experience in the auto industry.

• Alternatively, 4 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Must be able and willing to travel regionally on short notice 75% of the time.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

• 1–2 years of audit/inspection experience is preferred.

• Candidates must reside in Texas – Central Time Zone, with preference given to those in San Antonio, TX.

• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, sleet, and other inclement weather.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in potentially unpleasant or aggressive fieldwork environments.
