Field Sales Representative II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify key markets and new clientele within the designated sales region.

• Formulate sales strategies and cultivate important customer relationships aimed at solution selling.

• Foster and enhance relationships with customer contacts to identify design opportunities.

• Tackle existing business challenges faced by customers.

• Ensure customer satisfaction concerning supply chain management and value-added services.

• Create strategic plans for the accounts assigned to you.

• Market and sell Richardson RFPD products by leveraging knowledge of key supplier lines.

• Compile detailed internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), which encompass strategic plans and implementation steps to boost sales, generate demand, and enhance customer service.

• Conduct regular QBRs with major clients to identify further sales opportunities.

• Advocate for and sell value-added, supply chain, and comprehensive life-cycle programs.

• Establish connections with key suppliers.

• Address complex challenges using existing solutions and implement best practices to enhance products, services, or processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a 4-year degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree without prior experience; or equivalent work experience.

• Experience as a manufacturer representative or distributor in RF/Microwave and power electronics semiconductors, as well as IP&E sales, is highly advantageous.

• Proven experience in interacting with vendors and customers within a technical and engineering context.

• Extensive knowledge of pricing programs and models prevalent in the electronics sector.

• Strong capability to formulate strategic plans for the accounts assigned.

• Comprehensive understanding of Richardson RFPD’s key supplier lines.

• Competence in preparing and presenting internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR).

• Ability to lead regular QBRs with significant customers.

• Proficient in sales tracking systems, including Salesforce.com and Oracle Establish.

• Skill in establishing relationships with key suppliers.

• Willingness to travel up to 10-15% within the territory.
