Field Sales Representative II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify essential markets and potential new clients within the designated sales territory.

• Develop strategies and foster key relationships to lay the groundwork for solution-based selling.

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with customer contacts to identify design opportunities.

• Tackle current business challenges and ensure customer satisfaction regarding supply chain management and value-added services.

• Create strategic plans for the accounts assigned to you.

• Market and sell Richardson RFPD products by leveraging knowledge of key supplier lines.

• Compile detailed internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs) to present strategic initiatives and implementation plans aimed at increasing sales, generating demand, and enhancing customer service.

• Facilitate regular QBRs with major clients to uncover additional sales prospects.

• Advocate for and sell value-added, supply chain, and comprehensive life cycle programs.

• Resolve complex challenges by utilizing existing solutions and applying best practices to enhance products, services, or processes.

• Engage with customers across the Quebec and Maritimes regions in Canada.

• Participate in a sales compensation plan with variable OTE linked to sales-related objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with no experience; or equivalent professional experience.

• Background as a manufacturer representative or distributor in RF/Microwave and power electronics semiconductors and IP&E sales is a significant asset.

• Experience in engaging with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering setting.

• Thorough understanding of pricing strategies and models within the electronics sector.

• Strong capability to formulate strategic plans for assigned accounts.

• Profound knowledge of Richardson RFPD’s key supplier offerings.

• Familiarity with sales tracking systems, including SalesForce.com and Oracle.

• Skill in establishing relationships with key suppliers.

• Willingness to travel up to 10-15% within the territory.

• Competence in redacting or removing age-identifying information from submitted materials.
