This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
• Serve as a representative for Baxter’s Advanced Surgery division and its surgical product offerings.
• Take charge of the recruitment targets within the designated area.
• Lead small teams while promoting the adoption of selling techniques, clinical expertise, and industry best practices.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to peers and sales representatives through one-on-one calls, field rides, coaching reports, and quarterly business reviews.
• Guide new hires throughout their onboarding journey with both remote and in-person supervision.
• Instruct on Commercial Selling Skills, Customer Knowledge, and Product Knowledge.
• Develop educational materials and experiences for both experienced and new advanced surgery sales representatives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Global Commercial Training and the Area Vice President to identify, plan, and implement training initiatives.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for internal customer groups.
• Lead Baxter Advanced Surgery training that emphasizes clinical and practical sales knowledge.
• Support regional and national sales meetings.
• Oversee new product training and refresh existing training materials.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of operating room sales experience.
• Proven track record of hospital-based selling in the operating room environment.
• Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring colleagues.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% across a geographic area that may cover multiple states.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, or train small teams, fostering measurable performance improvements.
• Familiarity with adult-learning principles.
• Experience in managing or developing medical education programs and content.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong customer service competencies.
• Excellent creative problem-solving and influence-management skills.
• Capacity to coordinate and engage in multiple projects within a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
• Must reside near a major metropolitan airport.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
