This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for promoting new business development and enhancing broker partnerships within the small business sector in a specified territory.
• Cultivate and expand broker relationships through frequent field visits, collaborative selling, and continuous engagement.
• Provide persuasive product presentations to brokers, employers, and industry stakeholders.
• Act as the company's representative at industry events, broker meetings, and local market initiatives.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of the market, including competitor strategies, pricing trends, and regulatory developments.
• Identify and secure new small-business medical groups.
• Monitor and report pipeline activities using CRM; evaluate sales performance and market insights to guide strategy and forecasting.
• Collaborate with underwriting, client management, and marketing to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 4 - 6 years of relevant sales experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 - 8 years of relevant sales experience.
• Must obtain an active health and life license within 90 days of employment.
• Proven track record of sales achievement in small group or level-funded health plans.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Strategic and consultative sales methodology with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain trusted broker relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily in local areas.
• Preferred: Experience with Dynamics CRM.
