This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote and sell the company's products and services to clients within a designated territory.
• Identify and create sales opportunities, registrations, and design wins by generating and pursuing business leads and reaching out to customers.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to secure product orders, achieve sales targets, and increase gross profit dollars.
• Collaborate with local and regional suppliers to establish the company as the preferred distributor.
• Participate in supplier training sessions and share product knowledge with customers.
• Work alongside Inside Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies for penetrating DTAM accounts.
• Provide product training, assess customer needs, and contribute to the development of customer roadmaps.
• Seek out new business leads through representatives, trade shows, networking, manufacturers, online resources, and internal networks.
• Manage all phases of the sales cycle for key clients, coordinating efforts with customers, inside sales, manufacturers, and quotes.
• Address key customer technical inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly.
• Stay informed about competitor activities, industry trends, and new concepts through industry publications, networking, training events, and trade shows.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (AE/EE/MSEE).
• At least five years of sales experience in a related industry.
• Prior knowledge or experience in the representative industry is preferred.
• Understanding of technical engineering sales is essential.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Valid state driver's license is required.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Should be insurable by the company’s liability insurance provider.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR: U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder, Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• Authorization to work in the United States is necessary.
