This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a designated sales territory in Atlanta, GA, and promote the growth of CooperVision’s contact lens offerings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Deliver product education, enhance product adoption, and expand market share.
• Collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, Professional Affairs, Customer Service, and Operations.
• Expand into new accounts and drive sales growth through various distribution channels.
• Achieve and surpass established sales targets based on territory quotas.
• Maintain a structured territory call cycle with approximately 5–7 scheduled appointments each workday.
• Respond to customer phone and email inquiries within 24 hours.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to comprehend customer businesses, evaluate needs, and profile accounts.
• Develop and implement call-cycle strategies and prepare account business plans in conjunction with the Regional Director.
• Generate new business opportunities within the designated geographic territory.
• Maintain technical expertise in CooperVision and competing products.
• Stay informed about industry trends and Health Product Research data.
• Educate customers on CooperVision products and propose solutions to enhance their businesses.
• Market value-added products and services to customer offices.
• Create customer marketing strategies and promotions while monitoring return on investment.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and CRM tools for analyzing product, account sales, and territory growth.
• Attend state and regional optical shows upon request.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer sites.
• Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time and outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site training, and regional meetings.
• Must reside in the assigned Atlanta, GA territory or within a reasonable distance.
• A minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in any sector.
• Proven track record of exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 8 years of related experience).
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to deliver presentations to customer groups of varying sizes.
• Proficient in MS Suite.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Tableau, Showpad).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for the installation, removal, and transport of diagnostic contact lens sets.
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal history, educational background, and motor vehicle records.
• A valid driver's license, proof of minimum insurance coverage, and a satisfactory driving record as mandated by the company.
